International Association for Identification

ACTIVE
MEMBERSHIP - Requires that individuals be engaged in the science
of identification or one of the other forensic sciences, be the head of a
police department, chief of detectives, or sheriff; provided however that
the foregoing persons are bona fide employees of, and receive salaries from
national, state, county or municipal governments, or some sub-division
thereof. This would include, but not be limited to, crime scene
investigators, lab technicians, detectives, etc.
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN THE RMDIAI AND WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
The membership consists of personnel
from large and small agencies primarily from Colorado and Wyoming. Participants share the
value of experiences that are not day-to-day happenings for everyone. People in
small departments learn and use techniques being developed by the most
sophisticated laboratories. Scientists who might otherwise tend to stay in the
"ivory tower" are drawn to "where the action is". The result
is a more effective law enforcement community.
